TV drama "Busujima Yuriko no Sekirara Nikki" (毒島ゆり子のせきらら日記) trailers have been revealed on TBS official Youtube channel on 16 March 2016.

Former AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko (前田敦子) will be leading actress of "Busujima Yuriko no Sekirara Nikki", it will begin airing on 20 April 2016.



Busujima Yuriko (cast by Maeda Atsuko) is a political reporter who does not trust men due to her father's betrayal when she was a child. Therefore she makes herself a dating rule that she has to date two men at the same time. Just in case one of her boyfriends betrays her, she will still have the other one.

AKB48 member Shimazaki Haruka (島崎遥香) wins Best Actress of TV Asahi's "AKB Horror Night  Adrenalin no Yoru" online Ballot. The result was announced in official site on 16 March 2016.


The rewards is Shimazaki Haruka will get the opportunity to be leading actress of TV Asahi upcoming renzoku drama that is going to start in the fall of 2016.

AKB48 member Shimazaki Haruka (島崎遥香) will appear in NTV Drama "Yutori desugananika" (ゆとりですがなにか), it will begin airing 17 April 2016.

The TV drama will be written and directed by Kudou Kankurou (宮藤官九郎), the story is about family, career, love and friendship between Yutori first generation.


Shimazaki Haruka's character "Sakama Yutori" is younger sister of Sakama Masakazu (cast by Okada Masaki), she is an university student, and currently job searching. She is good at Internet, and Facebook administrator of her family business "Sakama Brewer" (坂間酒造). Sakama Yutori think her brother and family's style is outdated.


Note 1: Yutori originally means 'not to hurry, go slowly or keep time for yourself'.
Note 2: Yutori also refer to Japanese "Yutori generation" for those youngsters who are educated by Yutori teaching method. In recent years, the mass media in Japan have used this phrase to criticize drops in scholastic ability.

Yutori generation is a classification sort of like "Generation Y", are turning out to be a special breed, according to employers who are struggling to fit them into workplaces where older generations hold sway.

Note 3: Yutori education is a Japanese education policy which reduces the hours and the content of the curriculum in primary education.

AKB48 member Watanabe Mayu (渡辺麻友) will appear in WOWOW musical comedy "TRIBECA" (TRIangle BElong Comical Affair).


"TRIBECA" will be broadcast on WOWOW PRIME monthly, total 6 episodes, first episode will be delivered on 22 April 2016 (24:00), and a special program will be broadcast on 3 April 2016 (9:45).

Former AKB48 member Oshima Yuko (大島優子) will cast famous Japanese feminist pioneer "Hiratsuka Raicho" (平塚らいてう) in NHK asadora drama "Asa ga Kita" (あさが来た).

Oshima Yuko will cast the character "Hiratsuka Haru" (平塚明) who renamed Hiratsuka Haru later, it is Oshima Yuko's first appearance in NHK TV drama, she will appear in the episodes 150 (25 March 2016), 152 (26 March 2016) and 153 (30 March 2016).
