HKT48 manager Sashihara Rino, at TV show "王様のブランチ" (King's Brunch), were talking about which book influence her the most, the manga is "SLAM DUNK", the novel is "白夜行" (Byakuyako, english translation: Journey Under the Midnight Sun).

"Slam Dunk" is a basketball manga by Inoue by Takehiko about a basketball team from Shohoku High School. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan from 1990 to 1996 and was also been adapted into an anime series by Toei Animation which had been broadcast worldwide. Slam Dunk had sold 120 million copies in Japan alone, making it one of the best-selling manga series in history.
"Byakuyako" is a mystery novel written by famous Japanese author Higashino Keigo, it was published in August 1999 and became a bestseller, its sales exceeded 2 million in December 2010. The novel attracted various adaptations, including a stage drama in 2005, a Japanese TV series in 2006, a Korean movies in 2009, and a Japanese movies in 2010.
Compared to manga and cosmetic & fashion, Sashihara prefers Manga.
