Nogizaka46 member Wakatsuki Yumi will cast Kuran Yuki (Yuki Cross) of coming musical "Vampire Knight". The musical adapted from manga series "Vampire Knight" by Matsuri Hino.
The musical will be on stage at 21-25 January 2015 at Hakuhinkan Theater, Tokyo, the stage play production is Nelke Planning, Koji Tokuo is writing the script and Shinnosuke Motoyama (choreographer on The Prince of Tennis and Macross the Musicalture musicals) is directing.
Vampire Knight is a girl manga series written by Japanese manga writer Matsuri Hino. The manga series is licensed in English by Viz's Shojo Beat magazine of Viz Media. The manga plot is about Kuran Yuki, a high school girl whose unique school features a "day class" of normal kids and a "night class" of vampires. She works with her adopted father and headmaster to prove that vampires can coexist with humans peacefully.
Kuran Yuki (Yuki Cross) is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, a 16-year-old first year student, who wields the Artemis rod, an anti-vampire weapon given to her by Kaien Cross. She begins as a human, a Guardian protecting the vampire students' secret from the human students.
