ReplyDeleteI can see the point of a celebrity or star having a social media outlet, since they are 'semi-quasi-inherently' interesting people; so others may want to know what they are doing.
But the same thing for any average john doe walking the street? I don't get it. Facebook is a truly alien concept for me...

ReplyDeleteBoa is Korean, but she is very popular in Japan. I would say that she is more popular there than in her home country. That site is attempting to rank the people that are most followed by Japanese Instagram users even though the data they list is by total worldwide followers.

I like to bake and browsing Instagram of other people's baking efforts gives me good ideas, I in turn post pictures of my baking and have picked up followers because of it. It can be used for most any hobby to find other like minded users.
Guilherme: Facebook and Twitter are totally different websites xD Don't mix them. Facebook is more a chatting and stay in touch website, but Twitter is a website to follow your favorite persons in life e.g. stars or family on holidays :P
