    2. Murashige qualified! UREshige!

I actually like the Janken Taikai more than the elections... and the winner gets a much more specific single, tailored for her character and personality.

Perhaps PARURU don't want to win :p

      Re: Guilherme Quintao
Janken, in some point, is better than General Election, but I personally don't like Janken Tournament.

      Re: janken pum
It seems many fans like HKT48's Russian beauty XD

    5. Somehow I feel that this Janken is kinda fake, except for the 1st one. How come the previous winners were always someone who was already famous but still lack of public's attention like Mariko-sama, Paruru, Jurina and Milky?
Well, I know that popular people are mostly lucky but really?! What's more the rest members that made it to the senbatsu are the one that the management want to push.
I smell something fishy bout this Janken thing.

I just hope that Sakura doesn't end up winning Janken, I love her, but that would be way too weird...and suspicious

Me, on the other side, never truly thought that it could be arranged.

When I was a student at university I worked in a few big events/conventions: SuperHeroCon, Campus Party and 'Galo da Madrugada' (Carnival). This last one is a really big thing (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galo_da_Madrugada), with literally millions of people at the place, and half a dozen big TV networks covering the party. I was employed by the city's prefecture, so I know how huge events are ridiculously complicated.

The Janken Taikai is broadcast live. ANY kind of live event is a logistic disaster about to happen every minute; I don't mean they could happen, I mean they DO happen every few minutes, its the staff working like crazy behind that makes an event appear smooth.

And all it takes is a single girl, who may be thinking to graduate soon or a kks ("what do I have to lose?"), to put a winning hand (if they order you to lose with a 'rock', then you know your opponent will put a 'paper', all you need is to put 'scissor') to make the whole scheme rumble.
Or maybe someone forget what they are supposed to use.
Or an ex-member or kks would talk about the "big scandal" and get money and fame from tabloids (Shukan comes to mind).

So I only see 2 ways: either they really don't fix the tournament (I dunno how they 'qualify' the girls, so maybe there is a hand there, I dunno)... or they are so UNBELIEVABLY good at it that by this point they freaking deserve it.

If somebody went to the media and showed any kind of proof or evidence they would get instant fame and money.
And I would applaud AKB management for being able to do it for years and flawlessly, lol.

      @Guilherme Quintao:
It's quite simple. No girl knows who will win. But it is rigged. They get a "setlist of hands" that you need to show. E.g. Yabuki Nako gets told she has to use, Paper, Stone, Paper, Scissor, Paper, Stone.
First round Nako wins against Miku because she had to learn Stone, Scissor, Paper, Paper... But dropped out. So you don't know when you drop out and can't predict what's your "ememy" will take.

This year Kodama Haruka is going to win, so Sasshihara Rino can graduate next year or in two years. Haruppi is more well-known then Sakura but lacks power-voters :P

2nd case: Sakura wins to crush AKB, but I doubt that will happen. :D Jurina, Yukirin, Mayu and Sasshi are too strong :D
