As Sashi herself said:
ReplyDelete~fu~fu~fu~
People may not like Sashi as a center but she's REALLY popular and she brings in good numbers.
ReplyDeleteThere's other members involved in this single, not all credit goes to sashi.
ReplyDeleteYes, this is Sashi driven...
ReplyDeleteIt is a small sample size but the correlation is fairly strong that the two singles that Sashi was center of are 1 and 2 on this list while "Kiboteki Refain" with a very similar lineup is 5th...
Does the sales of this say more about Sasshi and Mayu or the quality of the song?
ReplyDeleteFor me I prefer this over Placard and KFC clearly a good song. But is that clearly the fact that it is Sasshi as the center that is the reason for the better sales?
The sales are just so high because it has 1 more day HS and 1 more gimmick so, it isn't that surprising ;) because HS are the biggest saler. :D If you look at Soundscan you will see, that without Theater edition AKB48's songs would sell around 250-300k ;) Don't hype Sasshi. She is just the Center, the composer and director are the persons in the biggest charge, you should credit them :P And ofc the management team for promoting the single very well. :D
ReplyDelete'm from Brazil and I can not speak or write English fluently, but Sasshi deserves so much of the credit because she really indulges in music and is the best for you all enjoy while Mayuyu was a failure in KNP as not to I was motivated. The writer, director, choreographer and be more there who is worth the credits and Sasshi also worth because they do not know if you watched the baitoru event, Sasshi had an impressive performance as they performed HN and all public became agitated sung, was really muiti good.
ReplyDeleteSashi is the biggest draw for sure, but I think there's more reason why this single sells pretty well.Milky going back into senbatsu, with her rabid fans,3 new people(tomu, kaotan, churi) that their hardcore fans surely want to support. And something about more event tickets?
ReplyDeleteAs a fan it's always good to see a good sales number.
Those trying to downplay Sasshi's involvement in this (because it clearly is Sasshi driven to an extent) are just haters - even if they try to bring in that "not just Sasshi" argument - as if they care about the other reasons they list as reason for the achievement (aside from their oshi).
ReplyDeleteI feel as if the numbers would've gone more up if it weren't for that Yukirin "scandal" and Milky's actual scandal.
Sashihara quality :)
ReplyDeleteI was afraid this single might struggle with the 1million trend because it seemed to me that there were fewer live performances and on stage48, people are saying HS sales are poor. Sasshi is certainly a draw, KFC now this. It's too much to be a coincidence. Another proof of her amazing popularity
lol i guess saying sashi is the biggest draw is a downplay.Geez apparently it's either sashi lover or sashi hater and none in between.
ReplyDeleteAll these non-sense comments, there are even 2 more days to HS, so ofc they aren't that high. It's the same with Kibouteki Refrain, that that this one has a special sign gimmick and gramophone record were pressed for elderly people. Before you spread non-sense or bash any girl, please check all the news. This single was pre-determined so Sasshi had no choice. It could have also been Yukirin or Mayuyu who had to Center this, but they didn't win, so now you give Sasshi, who is just dancing and singing all the credits, despite all the staff member who worked so hard to make it to this.
ReplyDeleteThat's just ignorant and doesn't show ANY LOVE for the 48G.
Better check your comments before posting them.
I don't really like Sasshi, she's too aggresive and arrogant, but the best part is she never try to hide it and would rather act 'Ue Kara' than fake a humbleness like most idols. So I'm not her hater.
ReplyDeleteBut about the selling, It doesn't have anything to do with she became the center in my opinion. Sure, she's way more popular but do you think all those who bought the single are Sasshi-oshi? When her vote for senbatsu only around 100-200k? It's all thanks to Aki-p for writing the song, Suzuki Papaya for composing and choreographing, Shinobu for making an attractive costume, the MUA, the promotion team, HS event & such and the rest who ranked in sousenkyo. Some fans only want to see their fav member, not Sasshi. I myself only want to see Takamina, Jurina, Sayanee, and Paruru, and the fact that Sae became Kami8 and Kitarie made it to senbatsu also what motivated me to bought this single. The credits doesn't go alone for Sasshi. Get over it!
^ @Tuberose
ReplyDeleteagree to the max with you
@tuberose so true! Agree to the max
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one who likes KNP here? lmao the sales weren't that good but i think it's a good song XD it's like my 4th favorite 48G song lol. Hallooween night's really good, it's so groovy and i love the costumes most esp. the the shiny 80's-like silver costume ohoho <3
ReplyDeleteMayuyu's photobomb is epic (first pic)! I think now that she is not # 1 anymore has taken the pressure off her to be a 'perfect idol', and she can take herself less seriously (maturity is sinking in). She recently cut her hair short, as in she doesn't give a f*ck. The ex-cyborg is now a very beautiful woman.
ReplyDeletestill mayu must be center...
ReplyDeletethis not akb song..this sashi song...
