Former AKB48 member Oshima Yuko (大島優子) has new TV CM for online shopping platform ZOZOTOWN, she casts classic anime character Kitaro (鬼太郎) in new TV CM.

GeGeGe no Kitaro (ゲゲゲの鬼太郎) is a manga series created in 1960 by Mizuki Shigeru. It has been adapted for the screen several times, as anime, live action movie and video games. Kitaro (鬼太郎) is the main character of the manga, he is a yokai boy born in a cemetery after the death of his parents. He is missing his left eye, but his hair usually covers the empty socket.
why is she playing a male character? kinda weird if you ask me.
