Tokumitsu Kazuo, the regular MC of the AKB48 group Elections, criticized AKB48 Team A member Shimazaki Haruka (島崎遥香) on TBS TV show "Job Tune SP" at 10 October 2015.
Tokumitsu Kazuo is the regular MC of the AKB48 Elections
Tokumitsu Kazuo said Shimazaki Haruka is the guest type he doesn't want to work with, he explained: "She wouldn't reply my question, or reply give an irrelevant answer, and she is younger than his grandchild, I feels upset."
Tokumitsu Kazuo added "While I watched TV and found she was talkative with Tamura Atsushi, I were angry! She didn't talk to me, but talked a lot with Atsushi."
On the other hand, Shimazaki Haruka also made her comment on 755.
A fan: Paruru, Mr. Tokumitsu mentioned Paruru on Today's Job Tune SP
Shimazaki Haruka: I read the news, I like Mr. Tokumitsu, I am very grateful he was MC of General Election every year.
dang, this grandpa need to chill. Paruru always been like that so the fans understand if she don't reply to his questions. I mean isn't that how fans started giving her the Salty character. Also I think Yui said this before how Paruru is hard to understand/ talk to or something like that. Sorry I forgot since it was probably a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteProbably for him, he just see Paruru as rude or something (don't quite understand the culture/show business way, so just my guess)
@ Liza Leung, these are what I guess
ReplyDelete1. Tokumitsu just wants to make some noise for Job Tune SP
2. Tokumitsu just wants to make some noise for ATSUSHI x PARURU no ○○PART-TIME JOB! (It seems FujiTV and TBS have good relationship)
3. Tokumitsu is Paruru fans... so...
4. Tokumitsu is angry for being disrepected
5. Tokumitsu is angry because too much SALT is not healthy for elder (or any people)...
Silly old fool :)
ReplyDeleteSo, let me see if I understood this correctly...
ReplyDeleteHe is envious. That a pretty girl didn't talk to him.
Huh.
And to be fair... she barely talked with Atsushi-san on the first episode. Lots of awkward pauses. If it wasn't her job, I bet she wouldn't have talked there either.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, Paruru is just a very shy person.
He has MC'ed elections for a while now. He (and everybody watching) can't wait for what Paruru's answer will be. (Same thing for Yui-han's stage freeze). He should be used to that by now. We all love Paruru for the very reasons he doesn't "like" her. Otherwise, it'd just by another boring speech. Leave the Goddess alone.
ReplyDeleteIts like comparing apples and oranges. Baito is a tv show and the election is well a high pressure/disappointing for most girls event. Completely different situations to be judging.
ReplyDelete@Paul the last one crack me up. But yea all these reasons make sense. When I read it, it seem like he was talking bad thing about her.
ReplyDelete@Guilherme Quintao Envious huh, never thought of it that way. Good reason right there. True, I think Paruru is just shy as well.
lol..Now he'll realize we everyone called her salt :D
ReplyDeleteIt sounded more like an attempt at dry humor than outright criticism. Like he was acting a little peeved because she never talked to him nearly as much as she did with Tamura. Well, maybe I just find it a little over dramatic to kick up a storm over some comments from a man who clearly doesn't know much about 48G members despite MC-ing their GE several times already haha.
ReplyDeleteUmm I think you guys are being unfair.
ReplyDeleteMr.Tokumitsu is her senior in entertainment world, so there's nothing wrong if he expected Paruru to atleast show some respect by not ignoring him.
I have nothing against Paruru's salty behavior peace
Heh~ I haven't seen a video of that yet i can't tell if that tokumitsu was trying to be funny or plain serious when he said that. Paruru is really bad when it comes to talking i guess not everyone knows that and like Guillherme said, it's true when the first Maru baito EP was aired it was so awkward i even curled up into a ball myself because it was pretty awkward, so it's not just tokumitsu it's pretty much everyone lmao at Paul's 5th observation this old person gotta relax srsly, I think this old guy over exaggerated it tho..
ReplyDeleteFunny, well at least Mr. Tokumitsu just make some statement so that next time he hope Paruru will chat or answer his questions with a longer reply...lol
ReplyDeleteIm so done with AKB and there fans....It really annoys me when people act as if its ok for her to act this way because she is "Ponkotsu" or she is "My Pace" or "Salty" its just her character.....Wow Really.... every time she acts salty or gives lack luster answers Its rude...she isn't trying...why was she even pushed when she clearly has no motivation besides acting...there are so many girls who answer brightly and try really hard on shows but don't get the opportunities she gets...sad AKB is not fair and will never be fair if management pushes rude cute girls over girls who try there best and actually participate...hopefully more MC's call her out on this cause its about time
ReplyDelete^She trys her best and never is rude, because she isn't fake and stays herself. Personality is a high value in Idol world, most of the girls fail, because they are too much mainstream... and lacke personality. And of course her management "Big Apple" is trying to push her, so they earn more money? :D That's business. Other girls are mostly under AKS and this agency doesn't do anything to polish the girls personality.
ReplyDeleteShe is rude, there a lot of example. Tokumitsu said the true, and she isn't "salty" (that is a idea from managment) but only a bad manner girl.
ReplyDeleteIf Paruru wants a long life in showbiz then she better respect the elders of the entertainment world. Her "saltiness" is only good for the AKB fans.
ReplyDeleteI dont think you follow Paruru at all. When Team 4 first disbanded shinobu-san commented how Paruru couldn't stop crying. She felt responsible. I'm not a Paruru fan but I don't think you can say she doesn't try. Just because you don't like her go like someone else there are like 300 girls in the 48group lol

Delete@AKBFan
Deletewell said... he/she don't read the whole picture but start complaining others...
Oh, nice talking guys, I like posts/news like that. o/
ReplyDeleteNow, as an Anon (please guys, get names lol) and Payuyu oshi said, this can totally be an attempt at dry humor, without the video we can't see his reaction, tone and manner, which can change the meaning of a sentence. He could say that totally joking or being dead serious.
BUT... as Tuberose pointed out, Tokumitsu-san is a BIG senpai to her, and japanese work ethics place immense importance to rank. On the other side, another Anon (names, names, names!) pointed out that personality/character is very important in the entertainment world, so she staying true to herself (or character) is also necessary.
And the last Anon (ugh, you guys are killing me) is totally correct in saying that a life in showbiz will need her to show a lot of respect to the elders of the entertainment world. Her salty character is fine to the cameras, but behind the curtains she has to obey the status quo.
It's a fine balance, she has an unique character, and needs to maintain it for it to work; but it goes against convention and can be troublesome down the road.
@ anon who says he/she's done w/ AKB: She's not trying? just bc she can't say anything back she isn't already trying? I'm sure u got that impression bc she's an idol and u feel like she needs to improve her responses but what if she really has nothing to say? what if that's all that she wants to say? U want her to fake a statement just bc u want better responses? Well, she's not into that she's not into faking things just to live up to the "typical idol image" she'll keep it real even if others hate her for it. What's so wrong about being your true self even if ur an idol? At least u can sleep at ease every night knowing that there are people out there who loves the idol u & the real u compared to sleeping at night living up to the "typical idol img" but u dont enjoy it bc u feel like ur being forced to become someone u don't want to be & also u would feel sorry to ur fans who admires the fake u bc u know to urself that u would rather prefer ur fans to love & see the real u.
ReplyDelete@anon
ReplyDeleteAntis never stop complaining... if your think your idol are better then her (then go push her thought senbatsu) and not discourage her on fandoms... take care of your own idol before others !!!
@ Anon: For the anon who said "bad manner girl" ok, "bad mannered" is such a strong word a lot of paruru fans might misunderstand how you just described her. Just because she can't say anything back doesn't mean she's bad mannered, there are a lot of possible factors; she could be shy, she's too afraid that she would say something bluntly & people would misunderstand (happened many times already) or like the anon above said, maybe that's all that she has in mind. OR Also may i add up & correct me if i'm wrong but during the 5th SSK i think that was the SSK where tokumitsu tried to talk to her but she had nothing to say, she ranked high #12 and got lots of jobs but i think i've read somewhere that she was kinda unsatisfied? because she had lots of jobs at that time but ended up in 12th spot or something along those lines, fans even said that they expected higher so yea with that being said if you're in that situation you wouldn't feel like talking? well that's just me because you know you're kinda upset and all.
ReplyDelete@ Anon: For the anon who said something about showbiz life (Guillherme is right this is hard go get some names next time guys lol) welp yea this doesn't just apply to Paruru but to everyone who wants to succeed in showbiz. But i think paruru is cooperative and she maintains good relationship with other elders in the showbiz world because there was this guy (i forgot his name) i think the guy was a director/producer/critique i really can't remember but he was respected and associated in the showbiz world he complemented paruru on how she was professional during the filming of some movie/drama on his 755 I can't remember i his name but he was someone. Tokumitsu on the other hand welp he's another story
Wow, 24 comments and counting! No other 48G girl causes such strong emotions (maybe Sasshi to some extent).
ReplyDeleteThis sounds familiar...yes, reminds me of the Maeda times. The parallels between Paruru and Acchan only get closer (except for the added saltiness).
For Guilherme Quintao and Payuyu oshi: when you post as anonymous you can't select a nick so for me is working as intended (anonymous indeed).
ReplyDeleteFor Payuyu oshi: -i'm the bad manner girl anon - Reading various site that get comments from 2ch, i saw often news about flaming from Paruru. "Bad mannered" is a strong word yes, bet example not bowing to staff before filming, you know, is bad. Very bad. Yeah she can't reply but i don't get your point (?!?) and i think she don't read anything at all in english. And yes again, there are a lot of possible factors that she doing that but working on showbiz isn't all flowers and fun. I don't know if she get too much stress but if she don't like please leave (not hating intended). Her problems hits all group. About SSK i don't know, i don't follow it for years now; too long and i don't like the vote method. Just only a last one thing, i'm not a hater and is not intending to hate. Hating is stupid, i'm just a old fan. And sorry for my english :)
guilherme:
ReplyDeletemy oshi: english beer. because shes pure shite with rather mousey face
@anon " I am bad manner "
ReplyDeleteShe has been learning English for months by the help of others junior like Hillary and etc... Again as I say earlier you never look at the whole picture but start complaining others !!!
@Guilherme Quintao: I'd describe my Kami-Oshi Yuko as Jelly Belly's Bean Boozled (google it if you don't know), colourful and full of surprise. Like when you think you eat a peach flavored one it's actually barf, nonetheless it's fun and you'd repurchase it lol
ReplyDeleteparuru fans are mostly 18 year old kids who go the anti authority route. thats why she will never win shit at the elections because her fans are poor cosplaying hobby punks.
ReplyDeleteabout paruru herself, she is very cute. but then? her salty character is half made up (she never was salty in the first years). the truth is: i bet she recently realized she doesnt like to be an idol, but doesnt have the guts to just graduate. and please dont believe every word from staff or members when they say something about other members.
^@anonymous
ReplyDeleteThink you might have cross the line. I understand what you mean but you can't just say most of the 18 yr old fans are "poor cosplaying hobby punks" I mean they are some wotas who buy like tons of the album to vote for their favorite members so that right there is pricey so they have some sort of income. Yeah she probably won't rank on the top 3 until maybe many yrs later but she is pretty high in the rank compare to some other members. Also as for her character, we don't know. we ain't paruru but one thing for sure. She is trying. If we don't trust staff/members who do we trust to get news, the media? They would make it worse. The staff/members are the closest and the most reliable sources we could get even if they may be lying or be nice about it. So can we just stop with the hate and just support each members as they are. Man I hope Paruru won't ever reads this article, seeing all these comments will just break her heart even more.
Just my points of view, plz don't hate.
@Guilherme Quintao
ReplyDeleteI'm just going to say surprise flavor or the mystery flavor of any candy brands. Since she always surprise me in so many ways.
Liza leung: Paruru selected an anti-idol route. Which is why she has many fans, who like her being an "anti-idol". As an orthodox idol in earlier years, Paruru sucked. Now everybody was like "paruru is so salty, please love me, Paruru." They love the anti-authority character behind Paruru. Staff needed to invent something special for paruru, because she never had a quarter of Acchan's or Yuko's idol aura. So, they made her really getting into the salty character. And guess what? She was so good at it, that she has as many fans as antis. For a while, it was trendy to buy handshakes with Paruru because the fans wanted to get some reaction from her, but this got boring, and now nobody wants to shake hands with her anymore. Only her fans. Which call themselves "paruru army" and will cry rivers and oceans if someone is making fun of her. Because they are all 16 year old kids. See what happened this year in the election. Poor paruru army couldnt buy enough votes for her, and now Sakura has overtaken her. She will only rise next year because takamina and sae will graduate. What has Paruru done recently? She had a burn out, and deletes all her social accounts when she is pissed about fans. Which she is all the time. Truth is, If you piss off fans, they will be pissed as well. You cannot be anti-idol and expect true idol fans to like you. And this is the result. AKB48 biggest drama queen is Paruru, and all her fans are drama queens as well.
ReplyDeleteby mentioning her, he made her advertising.
ReplyDeletethat's all folks :-)
@ Anon who says paru fans are 18-16 yrs old: you really got to be careful on the words you choose man/lady, you're acting like you know everyone what if i told you that most of her fans are students who don't cosplay & are around 20-25 above. Woah you're not just a judgmental "mr/ms. know it all" but you're the worst calling them fans as "poor" idc if you're rich but your personality is so poor yourself. Half made up or not we'll never know at the end of the day AKB is business & true or not but the people who adore her loves it. Paru says that it's the real her, whether she lied or not that's all up to her bc she herself knows the truth but the fans believe her, so if paru's lying abt her character then okay that's all on her but we'll never know , it's all up to the people whether they would believe their idols words or not. "nobody wants to shake hands with her anymore. Only her fans." really? what if i told you that she has a lot of casual fans? mostly women & some children. And about her SNS accounts haha oh my god you really know nothing do you? welp i'm not gonna waste my time explaining why she had to delete her account/s, it really just goes to show that you know nothing only the negative stuff you don't even know the reason you're all "bc she's pissed" lol. You're making me laugh anon, any dedicated fan would cry for their idol most esp. if their idol gets hurt or something along those lines and srsly stop calling her fans 16 yrs old you'll piss lots of adult fans. Stop being sarcastic you hateful creature, those votes weren't easy to gather every fan tried their best just like any other fan of any girl, you don't know what they've been through just to gather those votes, i know a lot of fans who voted once but put all their heart & sincerity into that vote. So stop acting like you know everything and you know everyone because you don't ;)
ReplyDeleteSorry for interrupting. True, the Anon was a depressed, hateful basement dweller, but answering the "All Paruru fans are drama queens and cry like little girls"-punchline with the most drama-esque rant i have seen in a while, really made my day. I am not saying that too often, but my day was really made. The salt was very strong in this thread.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous 13: Hey you!! "As an orthodox idol in earlier years, Paruru sucked. " she sucked because she wasn't good at it because that wasn't the real her!! Imagine being someone you're not and pretending, it's hard because it's not you! Even if paruru is salty atleast she is not a faker! And paruru oshis don't cry like little girls and paruru is not a drama queen! She doesn't even try to be a drama queen people just make a big deal of the things she does like deleting instagram/755 if for you antis paruru is drama queen then you antis are the director! it was just nothing and you antis who have nothing better to do make a big deal and make story out of it!!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how many antis go on these hating rampages. It is a fact that the higher you go, the more antis you will get. Paruru doesn't have the aura of Maeda or Yuko? Judging by the strong reactions, I'd say she has enough aura and charisma. If Paruru were the "standard" idol, she'd be another, me-too, mediocre idol. Like it or not, no one can deny she has something special. Just look at some of the news of other members with (sadly) 0 comments because nobody really gives a s_*t, neither positive nor negative. "Love me or hate me, but don't ignore me". And whether the antis like it or not, and as far as management is concerned, Paruru is the true current Center of AKB48 (BWT and MG4/5), elections or not.
ReplyDelete@Liza leung: it's okay if paruru see this thread and someone translate it because paruru will see that she has many supporters and loyal fans wwith sincerity and full of love :-)
ReplyDelete^ true
ReplyDeleteHonestly I don't know much about Paru but she's definitely something else. Her talking more on social media than in real life (so they say) kind of proves that she could in fact be really shy. But let's be honest here, she's in a very difficult industry and she's easily misunderstood. That just puts her in a more vulnerable position to be pushed back in whatever 'outside 48G' goal she strives for. I'm sure she knows that, that's why whenever at a solo public-eye job she seems brighter
ReplyDeleteI don't usually comment on anything (lol) but I kind of felt the need to defend her (if you can call this defending). I don't hate her or go out of my way to avoid her. In my opinion there are good points and bad points about her, but hey who doesn't have some. Generally speaking, she's just a misunderstood person but she doesn't really try to clear up misunderstandings either. So yeah. . .
Anyways props to you all Paru-oshis, those comments up there were tough.
