AKB48 member Watanabe Mayu (渡辺麻友) has released her 5th solo single "Deai no tsuzuki" (出逢いの続き) at 10 June 2015, it sold 48,240 copies at first week, rank no. 2 at Oricon weekly ranking.

I think it's a pity that Mayuyu is such a traditional Idol, I like the variety-types much more... her acts with the angry guy from Mecha-Ike (I don't remember his name), where she fights him, stomping her foot on the ground, breaking props on his back; it is so funny.
ReplyDeleteNot sure if it is because she is that funny by herself or because of the gap between the calm and collected Idol and the Fighting Mayuyu.
I think mayuyu has a funny side, I want to see her do variety more. As for the acting roles, I would love to see a more serious or idk a different mayu, like an antagonist mayu. As for her solo single, this is just gold! I love the covers! The songs are great too, your money won't go to waste if you would buy it, it's worth it~
