  1. Welcome back Paul, it's been so long :D

Sasshi's absolute victory is so unexpected, I thought either Takamina or Yukirin will become the champion this year. I was quite surprise that Paruru ranked 9 even though Sakura ranked 7 (but I'm glad for Sae and Kitarie) and both Muto Tomu and Churi ranked in senbatsu. Also, I was upset that none of AKB's members become the center for senbatsu, undergirls, next girls, future girls, and upcoming girls. Overall it's good to see so many new faces on the list.
Can't wait for the 41st single to be released :)

Man was totally expecting Takahashi or Yuki to win this yr. Sigh well next yr hopefully someone new win the senbatsu (plz be yuki or jurina)

  4. Anonymous6/06/2015

Awww man...Yukirin was just one step away! Either way, I'm still really happy she got a HUGE increase in her final vote tally from last year's (like 60k+). Now I'm just afraid she might announce her graduation after helping NGT debut successfully and not stay till next year's GE. I neither hate or like Sasshi but I still think Yukirin deserves the top spot more if we take into account their work over the past year. Oh well...

  5. Anonymous6/06/2015

Im so glad Sasshi won now her haters can stop saying it was luck back in 2013...She won by a pretty large margin this time it was almost 27k more than Yuki. Would have loved Miichan in Senbatsu instead of Muto and would have loved if Shige had ranked hope she doesn't take it too hard.

  6. I hoped thatthe center was takamina, this is the last for her latest single Senbatsu and before graduation, or as a center mayuyu or yukirin sashihara but, for me the center of AKB must be a member of AKB, but I'm happy for tomu for his first time in the team Senbatsu

I'm going to take a break from AKB now...

  8. Ah~~~.... almost didn't hear my alarm clock and wake up to watch it on stream.

As an anonymous said above, would have liked it better with Miichan on senbatsu, and Murashige ranked as at least Next Girls. And I got really happy with Tani in the Undergirls, maybe joining the senbatsu right away could have been too much; now she can grow for next year.

And I really wanted Takamina in 1st place, no offense at all to Sashi (in fact I think she deserves it), I just wanted a bit more for our beloved Soukantoku.....

And about soukantoku: I'm starting to have my doubts about Yuihan as the next one... she was crumbling all over the place AGAIN. She should have started to get mentally stronger by now; Aki-P may describe her as "(Sense of) Responsibility", but I'm sure he would describe Takamina as that AND "(Force of) Will".

  9. I too was hoping for a Takamina win. I was happy that Oba placed so high, but sad that Wasamin didn't place at all.

I agree with you, make this lost as the breaking point for Paruru Army... We will make this as a lesson to ourself making our Kami cry...

And no more dissapointment and frustration I will make her reach top next year !!! (as long as I try must best to help her)

  14. @Payuyu oshi
I don't have any particular feeling for Paruru, neither like or dislike, to me she looks so... I don't know, 'background'? She just stood there looking mad to the announcer...

I mentioned earlier my doubts about Yuihan as leader (she too was shaken, just mumbling; in the end of her speech herself said "I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore") but Paul called my attention to Paruru; indeed, AKB's future seems a bit troublesome when both the "Future Ace" and "Future Leader" are always displaying such weak presentations...

Look at all the big names from both past and present, they can cry all they want, and scream "kuyashii!!!" alot, but always showed the strenght of will to talk back and face the cameras with their heads high (and eyes wet).

But every year I see Yuihan at the brink of a mental breakdown (I really thought she was going to pass out on the 3rd election). And I have been hearing "kirei ni naritai" and "I will become better" from Paruru since 2012.

Maybe they just need more time, like Paul said. But it's been a few years now, and I'm starting to have my doubts.

  15. Yes, good to have you back!

I´m impressed entrance fee for SSK is now over 13k votes!
It´s pretty steady up till 59 or so, only 2k votes can bring you from UCG to FG, 5k to NG and 9k to UG
That is amazing. I wonder how many votes have been suppmitted. Does anyone know? 1- 80 is around 3 million votes.

Do not-ranked girls get to know their exact result? Maybe if they inquire?

in the past, they will know. But now only Aki-P will know the result to prevent heart-feeling of members.

  16. My prediction to the top 3 was correct. [PHYSIC!!] I'm happy that Sasshi became center this year again.
But I wasn't expecting Haruka to be 9. That was a shocker. What really shocked me was when Nishino Miki wasn't ranked at all. I got so sad. Karen didn't rank either even though she got so happy at the PR.
But I did feel happy for Miyuki, Sakura and Sae.
I just hope that the people that didn't rank don't give up on AKB.

  17. I love Paruru and Yuihan duet, but somehow I feel that they couldn't fulfil Aki-P expectation to lead 48G (at least not in near future). They are cute but that is, nothing more.
For me the next generation Ace should be Sakura, she's ambitious and strong-willed and she's nobody successor (like how Paruru is Acchan's successor and Yuihan is Takamina's) and Sasshi should be the next soukantoku (fyi I'm not Sasshi oshi at all). But those two belongs to HKT48.

Frankly I wish that the management would push Mayuyu and Yukirin duet more after the first and second generation Aces left the group. I feel bad for them if you know what I mean. Their existence're not as superior as how Acchan and Yuko used to (the management's fault).

And what about Sae, Rena and Sayanee? (They're part of Kami8, although Rena doesn't participated in this year ssk)
Even though they're super popular and has a strong fan base it's as if the management totally forgot about them (especially when Sae always ranked in senbatsu)
Jurina was highly promoted and even has a solo cover for Oogoe Diamond and w-center with Yuko for Uza (when she reached the legal age in Japan I believe she would win the ssk). Even Sakura became w-center with Mayuyu for Kibouteki Refrain in no time, when she haven't become one for HKT's single.

If the management said that Sae and Sayanee not suited to represent AKB48's idol image, then just make a song like River, Beginner, Kaze wa Fuiteiru or Maeshika Mukanee. Or something like Kiseki wa Ma ni Awanai for their single with Sae as the center. Even something like Punkish is acceptable for autumn single.
As for Rena, I think she's capable to perform any song. SKE48 should push her more, make her a solo center!

Well everything I wrote above just my opinion. There's no offence, I love them all, I'm a DD.

Based on the result that not many AKB girls ranked, I think AKB's management need to push someone that can soar so high and so fast like sakura. She is just too awesome.

SKE wotas are awesome too. They place so many SKE girls this year. And notice that some girls that transferred to SKE got higher rank this year. Sae, Minarun, Tani, Suuchan, and Ranran.

Overall, I enjoyed this year sousenkyo. I don't want compare this AKB with the old AKB. :D
Every generation will have their uniqueness.
Waiting for the race between Sasshi, Yukirin, and Mayuyu (and maybe Sakura) next year.

  19. @Rika A

I was really surprised with Nishino Miki not ranking too... I didn't notice on the live (too many freaking adds), but I saw a gif on the web of her crying, sitting there all the time waiting for her name to be called, seeing all the Tentoumu Chu getting ranked, and her 2 fellow Musketeers both being Undergirls. That must have been tough.

    @Tuberose

Indeed people casted some very big shoes for Paruru and Yuihan, but now we see it isn't a perfect fit and the shoes were already bought... no returns accepted.

About Sakura, I can totally see her getting 1st place one day, but becoming a "Zettai Center" like Acchan was... well, I don't see any member becoming like that. Maybe we should move on from this image of a single girl becoming the center/face of AKB and accept a more fluid stance, picking members tailored for center on specific singles.

Now that you said it but I think yuihan's breakdown..well she really does that, maybe she's just sensitive but I think when she's done crying, she becomes strong and all and I can see that. As for paruru, she already did her best this year and last year, she even had her own show, she did lots of work and little by little showing some sides of her. Well unfortunately the girls who surpassed her got better votes, she was probably shocked bc she gave it her all, hoped for a better result and this happened. Oh welp, those rankings are just numbers, it will never measure a member's skill and hardwork bc every member is a hardworker. This is actually interesting bc we'll be able to see Yuihan and paruru's growth.

Let's keep on supporting them from now on ^_^

the election has been over and a couple of weeks have passed and I still feel so bad it hurts so much watching your favorite cry and from a partly biased point of view you think your oshi deserves better, I am talking about paruru. she probably think's that she's not good enough but that's not true at all oh god I wish I could tell her that..and miorin woah this is bad I hope that her wotas would push her on top next year. PARURU YOU BETTER PARTICIPATE NEXT YEAR BECAUSE I WILL VOTE FOR THE FIRST TIME AND THE ONLY ONE I'M VOTING FOR IS YOU! - hope she can read this haha

Honestly I'm not surprised that Sasshi won because well.. she's Sasshi, but as Mayu oshi I really wanted Mayu to win. And I didn't expect Paruru to drop from Kami 7 but with Takamina graduating this December, I'm sure she will be in her rightful place next year. There are two things that made me dissapointed with this Sousenkyo.. first is that none of AKB members as center and second is no offense to SKE fans but I don't like that SKE has more members than AKB in this Sousenkyo (SKE=26, AKB=23) because well.. this is AKB single but either way congrats to the 80 girls :D
