SKE48 member Furuhata Nao (古畑奈和) will appear on stage musical "Hana yori Dango The Musical" (花より男子 The Musical), she will cast the character "Todou Shizuka" (藤堂静).

"Hana yori Dango The Musical" is adapted from Japanese popular manga "Hana Yori Dango" (Also known as Boys Over Flowers). The manga series has also been adapted into live-action television drama series in both Japan and Korea, and in Taiwan it was also adapted into two live-action films.

Todou Shizuka (藤堂静) is a rich heiress and a childhood friend of the F4. She began a modeling career during her high school years, but shocks everyone at her twentieth birthday party by announcing that she plans to give up her career as a model as well as her position as the Todou heiress to move to Paris and become a human rights lawyer.

    There's sth wrong w/ the cast. Nao as Shizuka? I couldn't imagine it.
    I read this Hanadan musical news somewhere before, the leading actress will be decided through an open audition (they hv to sing either 'Blue Bird' which was a soundtrack for Naruto or 'Koisuru Otome' both by Ikimonogakari, good songs)

    @Tuberose: Couldn't agree more. Nothing against Nao, but she doesn't quite give off that kind of headstrong, feminist feeling Shizuka's character is centered around. She'd probably do better as Tsukushi's friend, maybe rival or something.
