AKB48 authorized manga "AKB49 Ren'ai Kinshi Jōrei" is announce to the live stage. It is by the Japanese manga writer Reiji Miyajima.
Minoru Urayama will be casted by SKE48 member Miyazawa Sae, Okabe Ai will be casted by SKE48 member Suda Akari, and Hiroko Yoshinaga will be double casted by Owada Nana and Kojima Mako.
The drama is scheduled between 11-16 September 2014 at AiiA Theater Tokyo.
AKB49 manga's story follows Minoru Urayama, a highschool boy whose crush Hiroko Yoshinaga dreams of becoming a member of AKB48. In order to help her with her auditions, Minoru secretly enters with her, cross-dressed as a girl named Minori Urakawa. His plan works and Hiroko is picked, but much to his dismay so is his girl alias, Minori! The story then follows Minori (Minoru) and Hiroko as they overcome the numerous trials of the idol world while Minoru tries to keep his secret from getting exposed, and get Hiriko to the Ace of AKB.
