AKB48 members will cosplay Japanese manga/anime "Sailor Moon" characters in NHK upcoming yearly TV show "The 66th Kouhaku Utagassen".
Chibimaruko chan and WHISPER
The year's show will feature a new special project "Anime Kouhaku", Red Team MC will be anime character "Chibimaruko chan", and White Team MC will be "WHISPER" of Yokai Watch. Anime theme songs will be performed by Kouhaku Utagassen guest artists.
AKB48 members will perform Sailor Moon Anime's theme song "Moonlight Legend" (Japanese: ムーンライト伝説, Romaji: Moonlight Densetsu), other artists will perform anime theme songs from Gundam, Evangelion, Yokai Watch and Astro Boy etc.
