Even if the Kennin girls are popular, but I have the feeling that the calendar will only consists out of popular AKB member, pushed members and popular Kennin members :( I guess there aren't pictures from members who ranked but not a chose from the management. This calendar should be renamed in 48 Group calendar. If I want to buy a AKB48 calendar I want to see members of this Group and not from others :/ Sorry Sasshi.

^ The sad truth of AKB management

    ^
They put Sashihara in HKT just to let people believe they're doing the rules applies to her as well. On the everyday "AKB schedule", she's still from the main group nonetheless.

I could say that's one of the biggest problems with AKB nowadays. Most of AKB fans fall in love with the AKB concept, but now, it's very similar to most of other JPOP groups. Their original concept is falling off as their management are trying to use only well stablished girls to gather money.

"On the everyday 'AKB schedule', she's still from the main group nonetheless."

Hum, why is that... maybe because she just won the elections for the second time?

"Most of AKB fans fall in love with the AKB concept, but now, it's very similar to most of other JPOP groups."

You got it backwards pal; it's the other way around.

"Their original concept is falling off as their management are trying to use only well stablished girls to gather money."

Their "original concept" is "Idols you can Meet". They just had a handshake event. People can still go and 'meet' them in their theater. Seems to me they are still the same.
And what? A company paying attention to the market and anticipating it's movements/tendencies? Just in order to maximize it's profits and keep growing? Those.. fiends, I would never expect that from a company.

^ So? Just because she won the election this means she need to appear in everything AKB-related? She's HKT now, not AKB. I'm not talking about AKB as in "AKB and all of other sister groups combined". I'm talking exclusively about AKB48, period.

    And it is not, sorry.

Meet them in their theater could be translated nowaday as "meet the girls which aren't famous yet". That's what you get when you go there, if you're a fan of a already stablished girl, sorry, but you'll not be able to meet her. May be in a handshake event, and may be if you're lucky.

Anticipating tendencies? What the hell did I just read? You could describe what they doing as "using what they still have to gather money because they run out of ideas" at best, and soon they'll run out of girls as well, since more and more popular girls are leaving and they're complete unable to push new ones on track. AKS is an awful company, as most of non-global Japanese companies, they still have a very primitive ideas about market, much like Nintendo for example, which keep doing the same old thing even when they clearly know it'll not work.
They just keep making money because Japanese fans are rich, addicted and will pay with their lives if needed.

Anyway, you can disagree with me, it's you right to do so. I still believe AKB is falling apart every year. Probably I'm wrong, and I hope, I'm wrong.

  7. We don't care what you anons hate, leave the whining an vitriol outside... if you don't like, don't follow AKB anymore, simple as that.

    We won't miss you.

So, if someone don't agree with everything in AKB then him/her should leave? Very adult argument we have here.

Not with time to deal with little kids. See ya'.

    1. Well... because "I hate Sasshi and Sakura, always" is a real argument, with well thought points and constructive criticism.

Deal with it kid, it's just dumb hater speech. We don't care about these stupid "opinions" here.

  9. @Paul is there a way of not having Anons and forcing everyone to have an account? I know it sounds mean, but at least everyone can then work out who the trolls are.
Its seem a lot of the anon are either haters or trolls.
